Privacy

A small, first-party data footprint.

No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics scripts. No sale of visitor data.

Analytics choice

The site asks before enabling analytics. If you accept, it stores a first-party consent cookie plus random visitor and session identifiers in your browser. You can choose Cookie settings in the footer and opt out at any time. We also respect the browser’s Do Not Track signal.

After opting out, no new pageviews are sent. The preference cookie is necessary to remember that choice; theme preference is stored locally and is not sent as analytics.

What a pageview contains

We record the page path, referring page, campaign parameters, approximate screen size, language, time zone, country supplied by the edge, browser user agent, random visitor/session identifiers, and time. We store a salted one-way hash of the network address rather than the address itself.

Pageviews stay in a SQLite database operated by xin. They are not sent to Google, an advertising platform, or another analytics provider.

Contact requests

If you submit the contact form, we store the fields you provide, the submission time, browser user agent and network address in SQLite so we can respond to the request. Submission is optional and the form asks for consent.

Access and deletion

The contact and analytics views are restricted through our Auth0 OIDC login at auth.xinproxy.com. To request access, correction or deletion of personal information, email [email protected].

Effective 11 August 2026.
